Short answer

Rockford IL Appliance Repair is published by N5 Studio, a web studio run by Ryan Nesheim in the Rockford area. Repairs are performed by a partnered local appliance repair company, not by the publisher. Every price, code, rule and statistic on the site links to the source it came from.

What this site is

A guide to getting appliances fixed in Rockford and the rest of Winnebago and Boone counties, and a way to reach a local technician. The phone number and the request form go to the publisher, who passes your request to the repair company serving your area.

What it will never do

  • Invent reviews, ratings, staff, a street address or a founding year.
  • Claim to be authorized by, or affiliated with, any appliance manufacturer. Service is independent.
  • Publish a price, code meaning or rule without a source.

How the town pages are built

Each of the 40 town pages is generated from public data: Illinois EPA laboratory results for the town's water system, the Census Bureau's American Community Survey for housing age, size and heating fuel, and the town's or hauler's own published rule for old appliances. Where a town publishes nothing, the page says so instead of guessing.
